I/O Extended 2012 on board of the c-base spacestation

Didn't get a ticket for the I/O at Mountain View and are around the Berlin Area during that time?

Forget the 900$ ticket fee, forget booking the flight to the States, forget the pain of the actual travel and just enjoy in the comfort of the c-base space station instead.

For the second time the c-base is proud to be hosting the Google I/O Extended in Berlin and YOU are invited to join our Googly happening.

Schedule:

On Wednesday and Thursday at noon the c-base will be hosting a freestyle Hackathon around all Google APIs.
Get together with other enthusiasts, enhance your skills and make awesome stuff.

At 18:00 we'll switch the Context and set focus over to Mountain View and will watch the streams from the I/O at the Google Headquarters.

There will be 2 (maybe more) seperate rooms showing the voted tracks. After you have registered for a day you can vote on the 2 Sessions you want to see.

Join us on board of the Mother of all Hackerspaces that crashed Berlin a long time ago and has been home to all sorts of creative minds.

You can work either on software or improve your skills with the hardware side of the ADK.

Test your Android application on devices that the c-base has to offer.
From first generation mobile phone, two Google TV boxes and a variety of tablets.

TL;DR: Come or cry, it's going to be awesome!

Droidcon Hackathon am 11. März 2012 in der c-base Berlin

Den Auftakt der diesjährigen Droidcon Berlin Week bildet der Droidcon Hackathon am 11. März 2012 in der c-base Raumstation.
Der Plan: 8 Stunden gemütlich Android hacken und so langsam auf die Droidcon einstimmen.
Thematische Einschränkungen gibt es keine - also eine hervorragende Gelegenheit, an neuen Ideen zu basteln oder die Apps vom Global Android Dev Camp weiterzuentwickeln.

Die Teilnahme am Hackathon ist kostenlos. Oben drauf gibt's Pizza, Salate, Snacks und ein paar Getränke für lau. BugSense sponsert die Siegerprämien und auch Vodafone unterstützt den Hackathon.

Die Agenda des Tages:

09.30: Registrierung
10.00: Kick-off, Projektvorstellungen, Teambuilding
10.30: Mentoring-Vortrag von Vodafone zum Thema: "RCS-e/ joyn"
11.00: HACKEN HACKEN HACKEN
19.00: Projektpräsentationen und Siegerehrung
20:00: Get-together und After-Hackathon-Party

Global Android Hackathon in Berlin (17.-19. Februar 2012)

Vom 17. - 19. Februar 2012 findet das Global Android Dev Camp 2012 statt. Dabei handelt es sich um einen globalen Hackathon:
Android-Entwickler treffen sich weltweit in 50 Locations, um 2 Tage am Stück durchzuhacken.
Insgesamt werden bis zu 1000 Teilnehmer erwartet!

Für Berlin steht uns die c-base als Eventlocation zur Verfügung.

Beginn ist am Freitag den 17. Februar 2012 um 18 Uhr.
Ende am 19. Februar 2012 gegen 18 Uhr.

Das sind ganze 48 Stunden Zeit, um Projekte umzusetzen und tief in die Materie abzutauchen.

Platz ist für ca. 50 Teilnehmer. Wer von euch mit dabei sein möchte, kann sich über das Registrierungsformular "bewerben".

Die Teilnahme am Hackathon ist kostenlos. Damit ihr genug Power für die 48 Stunden habt, werdet ihr darüber hinaus (großteils) mit Getränken und Essen versorgt!
